As summer comes to an end, there is no better time to fall into planning for the 2011 International CES. We have just four months left before the big show, so don’t miss out on the opportunities below.

Exhibitor PR Kit Now Available Online

Entries for Innovations Awards Accepted Through September 24

Entries for the 2011 International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards will be accepted through September 24, 2010. This annual competition honors outstanding design and engineering in more than 30 consumer electronics product categories. Honorees will be announced at the New York Press Preview on November 9, 2010 at the Metropolitan Pavilion and showcased at the 2011 International CES. The Innovations Awards program gives product developers and manufacturers an opportunity to be critiqued by a preeminent panel of engineers, independent designers and journalists. The Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering Awards program is open to all companies, regardless of CES exhibitor status.

Update PR Contact listing

Leverage CES PR tools and resources for the 2011 International CES by sending us your PR contact information.

To ensure that the media can find you at CES, please take a moment to list your company’s PR contact. We will direct any media inquiries we receive regarding your company or products to the individual you indicate. The contact information will be available to all registered CES media.  Please update your Exhibitor Profile, to include your company’s exhibitor PR contact information.

Business Wire will host the 2011 CES Online Media Center to provide exhibitors with options for distributing event related news releases and multimedia, setting up an Online Press Kit and analyzing the media who cover the show.

Scheduling Exhibitor Press Conferences

Press conference scheduling for the 2011 International CES is underway. A press conference at CES is an excellent way to debut new products and make major company announcements. All CES exhibitors are eligible to hold a newsworthy press conference and have their event included on the official CES press event list. Exhibitor press conferences will run on Thursday, January 6 and Friday, January 7, 2011.

Events can be held in a CES-provided press conference room, the exhibitor’s booth or in an exhibitor’s paid meeting room. Room reservations run in two-hour increments and come with a standard room set including theater-style seating for up to 200; three draped tables; a stage riser, a podium with a light and a wired microphone and two easels for signage.

CES Media Tour Involvement

The CES communications team will be making the rounds to visit CES media in select target cities throughout the year to promote the excitement and buzz surrounding the 2011 International CES. During the month of September we will be visiting Chicago, Denver and San Diego. If your company is headquartered in any of the mentioned cities and you want more information on how to be involved with the tour and have direct contact with media in your area, contact Allison Fried at afried@CE.org.
