McCarran Opens New T3 Terminal
Las Vegas McCarran airport opened a new terminal, T3, in June 2012. Terminal 1 continues to be open and operational but Terminal 2 is permanently closed. See below for a full list of affected carriers or visit https://www.mccarran.com/Fly/WhichTerminal.aspx for more details.
Some new features in the 1.9 million square foot expansion include space for two Transportation Security Administration checkpoints with up to 31 lanes, more than a dozen stores and restaurants, and on-board Wi-Fi for those passengers that are parked at any of T3’s gates. Further, international travelers will experience an expanded US Customs and Boarder Protection port of entry that uses multiple Global Entry kiosks to expedite entry into the United States.
