One of the following:
  • Masthead from a current issue of an industry-related publication listing you as an editorial contributor
  • An industry-related article published within the past three months with your byline
  • A letter from the news director, assignment editor or producer on station/network letterhead saying that you have been assigned to represent the organization in an editorial capacity at CES
  • Press photo ID
  • Business card from your media outlet reflecting your editorial role  
Online publications must also provide a monthly traffic report from an external demographic tool, like Google Analytics, verifying the site or blog gets 1,000 or more unique monthly visitors (UMVs). The Web publication must be a previously established, independent site that is regularly updated with original and current news-related content. YouTube sites, Twitter pages, personal blogs, forums, user groups and communities will not be considered for media registration.

One of the following:

  • An industry-related article published within the past six months with your byline 
  • An industry-related article published within the past six months quoting you as an industry analyst
  • Cover of a market research report from the past six months listing you as a contributor with your name, titile and company. Reports must be made independently and not solicited by exhibiting companies

We have three press rooms: 
  • Mandalay Bay, Level 2, Lagoon J (Note hours: Noon-7 p.m. Sunday, January 6 and 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday, January 7)
  • The Venetian, Level 4, Zeno 4601
  • LVCC, South Hall Connector, Room S229
As an added benefit for CES press and industry analysts, we are offering a Digital Media Center in the LVCC, South Hall Connector, Room S221, complete with ISDN lines, Internet, press interview/podcast rooms and more to help make your CES coverage as interactive and dynamic as possible.

In the LVCC, The Mandalay Bay (Sun. Jan. 6 and Mon. Jan. 7 only) and The Venetian press rooms and the Digital Media Center, you will find the tools and assistance you need to gather notes, write stories and quench your thirst at CES.

Interview rooms are located in the following locations:
  • The Mandalay Bay, Level 2, Lagoon J (Sunday and Monday only)
  • The Venetian, Level 4, Zeno 4601
  • LVCC, South Hall Connector, S229 press rooms

Podcasts rooms are availabe in the Digital Media Center in the LVCC, South Hall Connector, S221. Rooms may be reserved for up to two hours for on-site interviews. For reservations or any other press room services, contact Jamie Lilly at 703-907-7650.

To accommodate your busy schedule during the show, pre-quailfied media and industry analysts will receive lunch coupons for each day of the show, Tuesday - Friday (the coupons will be attached to your press/industry analyst badge). You will need your press/industry analyst badge and lunch coupon to pickup your lunch starting at 11:30 a.m, until supplies last, at either the LVCC S229, S221 or The Venetian, Level 4, Zeno 4601. Please note: Media and industry analysts that register and/or are qualified on-site will not get lunch coupons. 

New for 2013: There will be a press lunch, Monday, January 7 only at the Mandalay Press Room , Level 2, Lagoon J beginning at 11:30 a.m. until supplies last.

Yes, beginning in December, all registered exhibitors can access a list of pre-registered media and industry analysts on their exhibitor portal. New for 2013: Exhibitors will be able to sort the pre-registered media list by the product categories the media and industry analysts cover.

Can media and industry analysts attend conference sessions?

Yes. Media and industry analysts can attend conference sessions free of charge. You must bring your press or industry analyst badge for admittance. This includes Knowledge Track and Partner Program sessions.

Note: If a conference session reaches capacity, paying attendees will get priority.

The 2013 International CES® Press Day will  feature a robust schedule of exhibitor press events on Monday, January 7. Starting at 8 a.m., Press Day will be held in the South Convention Center of Mandalay Bay - our largest Press Day space inventory in show history!
 
Throughout the show, exhibitor press events will take place in CES press conference rooms in the LVCC's South Hall, The Venetian and in exhibitor booths and meeting rooms. The 2013 CES press conference schedule will be updated regularly through January.

Looking for a free and easy way to get to and from CES Press Events at Mandalay Bay? Take the complimentary Mandalay Bay shuttles from official CES hotels to Mandalay Bay. We will even have dedicated shuttles on Monday, January 7th to get press from Mandalay Bay to the LVCC for Sony's Press Day event. Currently, we are not accepting user groups, forums or communities for media credentials. User group, forum or community members who are affiliated with the CE industry may register for the International CES through general attendee registration. The International CES is not open to the general public, and all attendees must be in the consumer electronics industry to be eligible to attend the show.

No, children may not attend the CES. It is not open to the general public, and all attendees must be in the consumer electronics industry to be eligible to attend the show. Children, who accompany you to Las Vegas will not be granted access to CES unless they are over the age of 18 and have proof of industry affiliation.

No, spouses cannot register to attend CES. It is not open to the general public, and all attendees must be in the consumer electronics industry to be eligible to attend the show. Spouses, friends and family who accompany you to Las Vegas will not be granted access to CES unless they are over the age of 18 and have proof of industry affiliation.

The International CES offers television, web and radio broadcasters numerous locations strategically positioned throughout the show floor to help you bring all the excitement of the 2013 CES to your audience. Not only will our team help find you an optimal location for your broadcast, they will also ensure that all of your technical and logistical requirements address your expectations. With thousands of combined hours of CES broadcast experience, our team works with your team so that each location has the necessary connectivity and support infrastructure, enabling you to just plug-and-play once you’re on site.
 
The CES broadcast team delivers a concierge-style experience, working with you in advance of your arrival at the International CES to determine your particular needs, so that you can get on site…plugged in…and on the air, effortlessly and with ongoing attention to detail. Our broadcast team will be there for you every step of the way to make sure you reach your audience from the 2013 International CES.
 
Here's a brief rundown of what our broadcast team can provide:
 
•       Reporter standup sites, suitable for single-camera shoots or live bloggers
 
•     Larger broadcast locations suitable for two- or three-camera productions such as satellite media tours, network news shows, or webcasts, with sizes ranging from 10' x 12' up to 15' x 18'.
 
•    Radio broadcast booth; can be equipped with ISDN connectivity, a mixing board, and headsets and microphones for up to four people enabling you to go live from the show.
 
•    All broadcast locations will have 110 Volt AC power ranging from 2000 to 6000 watts capacity, depending on the size of the area, and may also include high-speed internet connectivity, ISDN lines, or regular telephone lines.
 
•    Some broadcast locations will have video, audio, or fiber-optic connectivity already installed and tested, and a nearby parking area for satellite uplink trucks. Broadcasters with special cabling requirements may bring their own, and our broadcast team will assist with installation and removal of the cable.
 
•    Certain broadcast areas may also be connected with the Vyvx® fiber-optic video network, enabling your video to be sent virtually anywhere in the world
 
•    Areas for satellite uplink parking have unrestricted southern visibility of the entire US satellite arc, and access to shore power and at least two telephone lines.
 
•    Access to our registry of local-hire video production professionals and equipment rental houses, in the event you're not able to bring your own people or equipment.
 
•    Assistance with registration and pickup of credentials for your personnel attending the show (some restrictions apply).
