Adam Benzion
1OAK Technologies

From the San Francisco startup scene to Redmond’s Microsoft, Adam has been living and breathing technology his entire career.  His proudest moments are distilled into two significant accomplishments; first, being a proud dad of smart little girl named Sienna who is going to save the world, and second was being the co-founder of a consumer electronics startup that was successfully acquired. Adam thrives on the energy that comes from the art of product creation, industrial design and engineering breakthroughs, pushing the limits (and buttons) of himself and those around him. He spends his days with fellow engineenerds at 1OAK Technologies in Kirkland, Washington.  



Benjamin Chia

Benjamin Chia is the Chief Creative Officer and Partner of elemental8, formerly designafairs USA. He is an experienced and multi-faceted industrial designer capable in all phases of the design process. As CCO and Partner, he directs the creative staff and develops new business potentials. He is fluent in English and Chinese, facilitating cooperation with international clients and efficiently manages the project to completion. Since 2000, Benjamin has been teaching at Stanford University, Academy of Art College, San Francisco State University, and San Jose State University, focusing on design process, strategy, and application. 



Benjamin Vincent
100 Pas Productions

Benjamin VINCENT is a French journalist, reporter, anchor and producer of High-Tech news Web TV shows. He's both the CEO and founder of 100 PAS PRODUCTIONS (www.100pasproductions.tv) and Editor-in-Chief of TEKNOLOGIK (www.teknologik.fr), one of France's most influential High-Tech news web sites. He also contributes to the Huffington Post France and writes for iCreate magazine. Since summer 2011, Benjamin has been producing High-Tech news reports as a free-lancer for BFM TV (France's #1 live news TV channel), mainly about international exhibitions (starting at IFA in Berlin) and major products international announcements. Benjamin anchors Adobe Live's yearly Creative Week, an event organized and broadcasted live from Paris for video, photo, design and web enthusiasts. He's now getting ready to launch a global Web TV in early 2013. Part of the shows to be broadcasted on that Web TV will cover Consumer Electronics. 



Chris Graves
Team One

Chris began his career at a few large agencies in New York, which eventually led him to Los Angeles. In his time at Team One, he has helped to grow the agency both physically and creatively. Team One campaigns have been recognized at Cannes, the One Show, the Webbys, CLIOs, CA, ADDYs and Beldings. But, more importantly, those campaigns helped drive brand preference and, ultimately, sales for Team One clients. Over the years, Chris has recruited many highly talented art directors, designers and writers, who continue to make Team One the envy of the industry and a coveted place to work. 



Clarke Stevens
Cable Television Laboratories

Clarke Stevens is a technology and strategic business leader who identifies key markets and technologies and drives strategic innovation to the bottom line. A proven leader in the development of groundbreaking new products, he uses secondary techniques as well as primary in-home contextual studies with customers to accurately predict the technology landscape. He has written over 25 publications in the Consumer Electronics field and continues to contribute to the Industry. Stevens is a consensus builder who organizes and leads cross-functional teams to achieve aggressive goals and clearly explains strategies, results and business implications to executives, investors and the press.   



Dan Grabham


Dan Grabham has been reviewing and reporting on all things computing, mobile and internet for the last decade and was part of the team that launched TechRadar.com. He is a regular at tech shows such as CES in Las Vegas, IFA in Berlin and Mobile World Congress in Barcelona as well as at other launches and events. He has also been interviewed and quoted in a wide variety places including The Sun, BBC World Service, BBC News Online, BBC Radio 5Live, Sky News Radio and BBC Local Radio. 



Dann Wilkens

Dann Wilkens, SVP Design, is responsible for PacketVideo’s design practice: encompassing new products, user experience design, usability, product concepts, and I.D. for hardware. He has been with PacketVideo since 2000. PV was the first company to deliver video to a mobile phone, and provides media apps & services to consumers, device manufacturers & mobile operators worldwide.



Dave Taylor
Intuitive Systems, LLC

Dave Taylor has been involved with the Internet since 1980 and is widely recognized as an expert on both technical and business issues. He has been published over a thousand times, launched four Internet-related startup companies, has written twenty business and technical books and holds both an MBA and MS Ed. Dave maintains four weblogs: The Business Blog at Intuitive.com, Ask Dave Taylor, Dave On Film, and Attachment Parenting Blog. Dave is an award-winning speaker, sought after conference and workshop participant and frequent guest on radio and podcast programs. 



David Danto
Dimension Data

David Danto is the principal consultant for AV/Collaboration/Multimedia/Video at Dimension Data, a multi-billion dollar global IT services and solutions provider. In this capacity, he is responsible for providing technical and operational guidance, as well as designing systems and solutions that will facilitate efficient communication and collaboration. Since 2007, David has also served as the Director of Emerging Technologies for the non-profit Interactive Multimedia & Collaborative Communications Alliance (IMCCA). With nearly 35 years of experience in media and unified communications technologies, David is a recognized industry thought leader. 



David Elrich
Digital Trends

As a writer and editor covering a wide spectrum of consumer electronics technology since 1985,David currently edits a quarterly digicam buyer’s guide and reviews cameras and camcorders for Imaging-Resouce.com and DigitalTrends.com. Although he has a heavy emphasis on digital imaging, David covers Home Theater including flat-panel HDTVs and many other CE categories. He is a member of the Academy of Digital Television Pioneers and writes for TWICE, the top CE trade magazine. David was also a contributing editor to Metropolitan Home and wrote for many top publications, including InStyle. 



David Kaiser
Spark Design, LLC

David Kaiser is president of Spark Design, a full service product development consultant firm located in central CT. David has over 25 years of consultancy experience, over 70 design and utility patents and has been awarded over 20 design awards. He received a BS in Industrial Design in 1972 and a MBM in Business Management in 2000. David, along with the other principals of Spark Design, specializes in creative product design solutions for domestic and international clients.  



Douglas Phair
Mitre

Doug Phair is a Technology Evangelist for the MITRE Corporation focused on providing novel business solutions in the area of collaboration, mobility, and agile work environments. His passion is to transition tools and technologies successful in the Consumer market to Enterprises IT and Government. In addition, Doug runs a large intern program at MITRE and sponsors several partnerships with many leading Universities. His work in this area provides insight into the work practices of the “Next Gens” to inform emerging IT environments and services. Doug has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Boston University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Merrimack College.  



Dr. Kenneth Wacks


Dr. Wacks has been a pioneer in establishing the home systems industry and a management advisor to more than 100 clients worldwide. He is a frequent speaker and panel session organizer at industry conferences and chairs the Editorial Advisory Board of the CABA magazine iHomes & Buildings and is a featured contributor under the byline “Ken Wacks’ Perspectives. As an entrepreneur at a venture-backed startup, he developed UNIX workstations for the semiconductor industry. Dr. Wacks received his Ph.D. from MIT as a Hertz Fellow and studied at the MIT Sloan School of Management.



Inbal Lishansky
DSP Electronics Inc.

A leader in the field of design, Inbal has over 11 years of professionally recognized experience in product design and innovation. As a VP of product design & Innovation at DSP Electronics Inc. consulting design group, she acts as the link between management and product design, and functions as the interface between the platforms of technology, design creation, management and marketing. In addition Inbal is also an Instructor at the Academy of Art University - San Francisco, School of Industrial Design, for the MFA and BFA programs.



Jake Sigal
Livio Radio

Jake mashed-up music and tech to make Livio Radio, which quickly established Livio as a leader in the car Internet radio industry. It also made Jake an accredited young entrepreneur. Through partnerships with venture capital firms and angel investors, he raised millions to fund the Livio Radio brand born under his own roof. When he isn’t inventing cool tech products, you can find Jake fist pumping in his office to electro, house and dubstep, or battling Baldini in foosball. Jake is married and has a cat cool enough to be on the box art for the Livio Radio featuring Pandora. Jake also loves riding his fixed-gear bike, letting loose at national electronic music festivals, and playing ice hockey for Team Livio.



Jason Schneeberger


Jason is a skilled computer and management professional with over 25 years of experience providing solutions to businesses with a variety of technological requirements. After over a decade working in the corporate world Jason transitioned to the nonprofit arena, where he has been working for the past 12 years. Jason excels in analyzing; researching, designing IT Infrastructure, cloud based solutions and server security solutions, as well as problem solving involving both hardware and software. Today he consults with customers to develop and implement technology-based business solutions and is working with organizations on migrating to cloud based solutions.



Jeff Mulhausen


Jeff Mulhausen is an American industrial designer widely recognized in the industry over the past 10 years. He has led teams and engagements across a variety of consumer categories and has received over 15 international design awards including CES Innovation Awards in 2007 & 2008. His work has been exhibited at the Austin Museum of Art, and as part of the Design for the Other 90% exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York City. Mulhausen now leads the firm UPSTREAM in Austin, Texas which partners with organizations to deliver broader market and social impact through the application of design tools and methodologies.



Klaus Rosburg
Sonic Design

Klaus Rosburg is the founder and principal of SONIC Design, a New York based design studio specializing in the development of consumer products, structural packaging and furniture design. Educated in Germany, Klaus studied Industrial Design at the Muthesius Academy for the Art in Kiel graduating with highest distinction. Nominated for the National Design Award in 2007 he has received the most prestigious design awards worldwide, most notably the Industrial Design Excellence Award, ID and CES Innovation Award. Klaus Rosburg is also co-founder and director of Firstop, a non-profit organization featuring and promoting the work of established and emerging designers.  



Mark Steiner
Steiner Design

Mark Steiner is principal of Steiner Design Associates based in Darien, CT. He has developed award winning products for the medical, consumer and business equipment markets for Fortune 500 clients, mid-size companies and small start-ups. Mark founded SDA in 1991 and holds multiple design and utility patents for medical, consumer and business products. His firm has won design awards in national and international design competitions, including the IDEA competition, ID Design Review, Good Design Competition and the ‘94 Nagaoka Design Fair. Mark has worked behind the scenes for various IDSA functions including the ’85 WORLDESIGN ICSID conference, the ’96 North East Conference and as an IDEA juror in 2003.



Michael G. May
Sendero Group

Mike May has been a pioneer in new product and business development since 1980. He has a Masters’ degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Mike’s start-up ventures have included developing the world’s first and only Laser Turntable, inventing a portable heating cushion for sports and medical applications and starting 2 companies in adaptive technology including Sendero Group in 1999, which released the first ever accessible GPS for the blind. Mike was a member of the White House delegation to the 2010 Paralympics and has been inducted into the US Association of the Blind Hall of Fame. A book based on Mike May’s life, Crashing Through, by best-selling author, Robert Kurson, was released in May 2007 and has a major movie by Stone Village Pictures is in the works.



Nicholas DiMeo
PLuGHiTz

Nicholas DiMeo is the COO for PLuGHiTz Corporation, a company that he started six years ago that developed and created an online publication with an emphasis on consumable new media. He is qualified as a lead journalist, show host and audio engineer for F5 Live: Refreshing Technology (www.f5live.tv), a livecast run by his company. His areas of expertise reside in the headphone and audio fields, and he has vast knowledge of Microsoft's business services. Nicholas also handles operations in a sister company, Sumo Software Corporation, which is an engineering firm that focuses on transforming businesses through unique software deployments.



Petros Belimpasakis
Bang & Olufsen

Dr. Petros Belimpasakis is a Specialist in Telematics at the Automotive division of Bang & Olufsen. His activities are driven by the passion of combining cutting edge technology with solutions that are convenient and intuitive to use in daily life. Dr. Belimpasakis holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, as well as an M.Sc. and a Dr.Sc. degree in Information Technology, from Tampere University of Technology, Finland, where he is also a Visiting Lecturer. He has authored 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications, and he is the inventor/co-inventor in more than 20 filed patent applications. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society.  



Robert Heiblim
BlueSalve

Robert Heiblim has more than 35 years of experience in the consumer electronics field encompassing all phases of general management, including management of new technology start-ups, and high growth companies. Mr. Heiblim is co-founder and principal of BlueSalve Professional Consulting and Interim Management providing strategy and execution counsel, service and expertise in consumer technology. Mr. Heiblim has also been very active in the industry serving as Audio Division Chair for the then EIA/CEG (CEA), on their executive committee, as chair of the DAR Manufacturers Caucus, Vice-President of the Compact Disc Group that launched and began the digital transition, and has continued to work on each new stage in the digital transition and numerous other industry activities including standards setting, new technology launches and promotion. Mr. Heiblim serves as a mentor for the CEA advising member companies.



Scott Gibson
Gibson Product Design Inc.

Scott Gibson has been active as an industrial design professional for over thirty years. He is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, and holds a Masters of Design degree from the Royal College of Art in London, England. He has worked in the design departments of Bell-Northern Research and Mitel Corporation. In 1983 Scott created Gibson Product Design, an Industrial Design consulting firm that continues to be his passion. His company has worked on a broad range of projects, including furniture, exhibits, and public installations, but the overriding focus has always been development of high value electronic products. Currently Gibson Product Design works with clients in Canada, the US, and beyond, in areas of home audio, wireless communication, and products for business and consumer markets. In recent years, he has participated in a growing trend toward offshore manufacture of products designed in North America.



Stefan Mozar
IEEE

Stefan obtained his engineering degrees from the University of New South Wales (Sydney), and his MBA from the University of Technology, Sydney. He has worked in the consumer electronics industry for most of his career, but has also worked in telecommunications and industrial electronics. He has lived and worked on four continents. His work included setting up factories manufacturing digital microwave radio systems in India and Vietnam. In addition to his industrial experience, he has also worked with a number of Australian, British and Singaporean Universities. His work has resulted in a number of inventions, patents, and published work. Projects he has worked on have been recognised with about 30 international design awards. He is frequently invited as a speaker at technical meetings around the world. Stefan is the President - elect of the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society.



Stuart Lipoff
IP Action Partners

Stuart Lipoff is internationally recognized as an authority and opinion leader in new economy related businesses and technology in the consumer electronics industry and related manufacturing and services businesses. He draws upon his 30+ years of experience in a wide variety of technologies and industries to assist clients with knowledge based consulting services involving complex business decisions. Mr. Lipoff is a fellow of the IEEE Consumer Electronics, Communications, Computer, Circuits, and Vehicular Technology groups. Mr. Lipoff holds three USA patents and has published articles in Electronics Design, Microwaves, EDN, The Proceedings of the Frequency Control Symposium, Optical Spectra, and numerous IEEE publications. He is a member of the USA advisory board to the National Science Museum of Israel and has presented a short course on international product development strategies as a faculty member of Technion Institute of Management in Israel. He is also a member of the board of directors of The Massachusetts Future Problem Solving Program.



Suneil Mishra
Mishra Consulting LLC

Suneil Mishra is a tech industry veteran involved in driving several novel technologies into the PC; consumer electronics; mobile; and interactive entertainment fields. Suneil has most recently leveraged his years of bringing game-changing and brand-leadership technologies to market - from audio to mobile, physics to 3D-motion-sensing across numerous consumer products segments - into a broad-based consultancy role for a number of clients on a worldwide basis. Suneil holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the George Washington University with a specialization in Computer Animation, Multimedia Design and Virtual Reality, and a B. Sc. (Hons) in Computing Science and Mathematics from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. He currently resides in Palo Alto, California.



Susan Schreiner


Susan Schreiner is a leading consumer technology analyst, thought-leader and journalist. Her expertise focuses on following trends and providing insights across the consumer technology spectrum from a/v to health and communications – and lots in between particularly as it relates to emerging trends and new products as manifestation of trends, consumer behavior and technology adoption patterns . Her published work appears regularly in CE Vision Magazine, Consumer Technology Publishing Group publications and at C4trends.com. Susan received a B.A. from Yeshiva University and an M.P.A. from New York University.



Todd Bernhard

Todd Bernhard has been a Contributing Editor for iPhone Life Magazine since 2008. He has written hundreds of articles on app development and reviews of mobile apps and accessories. Mr. Bernhard has covered the Consumer Electronics Show for more than two decades and is also the Founder of NoTie.NET, developers of award-winning apps, including AutoRingtone. No Tie's AutoVerbal Talking Soundboard app won the AARP Sterling Summit Award for Family & Relationship Caregiving at the 2012 CES. Todd Bernhard holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and lives with his wife and two kids in Rochester, New York.



Tom Furness
Visualant Inc.

Tom Furness is a pioneer in human interface technology and virtual reality. Dr. Furness is currently a professor of Industrial Engineering and Systems at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. He is the founder of the Human Interface Technology Laboratory (HIT Lab) at UW and founder and international director of the HIT Lab NZ at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand and the HIT Lab Australia at the University of Tasmania, Launceston, Tasmania. He is credited as a pioneer in developing virtual reality and augmented reality. With his colleagues Dr. Furness has started 25 companies and is also co-inventor of the SPM (spectral matching) technology licensed to Visualant Inc., to which he serves as a Senior Scientific Advisor. Dr. Furness and his wife Linda live in Seattle, Tofino (Vancouver Island), BritishColumbia and Christchurch NZ. They have two daughters and four grandchildren. His favorite pastime is playing with his grandchildren.



Tony Costa
Forrester Research Inc.

Tony Costa is a highly successful New Product Planner that synthesizes market trends and consumer research into innovative product opportunities. He is experienced in planning and managing a global product portfolio, evaluating new business opportunities, and aligning new product development efforts to the business strategy and objectives. As a visionary team leader with a proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals, he has experience in both corporate and consulting environments. Costa has special expertise in portfolio management, product definition, ethnographic research, process and tool development, branding, and industrial design. Previous hands-on experiences include working with mobile devices, PC accessories, technology research, and Internet retail.



Victor Berrios
Nomomoto Group

Victor Berrios is Managing Director of the Nomomoto Group, a Phoenix-based consulting firm focusing on the Internet of Things and standards development. With over 19 years of experience in the wireless communication industry, Victor is a recognized expert in the short range wireless. He currently serves as vice-chair of the ZigBee Healthcare Technical working group. He was Recognized by the Continua Health Alliance as its Spring 2011 Key Contributor in recognition for his efforts to the success of the of the Test and Certification Work Group. Victor received his Bachelors of Science in computer engineering from Iowa State University, his master's in electrical engineering from Arizona State University (ASU), and his master's in business administration from ASU.



Yu Yuan


Dr. Yu Yuan is a veteran researcher in areas of Vehicular Technology, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Consumer Electronics, and IOT (Internet of Things). Currently he is leading the research on Connected Vehicles in IBM China. Dr. Yu Yuan has filed numerous patents and received many IBM Invention Achievement awards and IBM High Value Patent awards. As an enthusiast in professional communities, he is currently serving on the boards of several prominent Industry groups. Dr. Yu Yuan received his Ph.D., M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University. He is a senior member of IEEE and a senior member of ACM.
